Wind Turbine Technician

Interested in helping create the energy of the future? You would be responsible for repairing and installing different components of wind turbines which involves testing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Technicians will be a part of a work crew that will travel to tower sites and perform work at both ground locations (working with electric components), and tower top locations (climbing up to several hundred feet and even above).

• Ensuring on-site safety and complying with safety standards
• Conducting repairs to telecom towers at a height
• Reporting on possible hazards on telecom towers
• Following work checklists and ensure operational compliance
• Following instructions set out by the scope of work and methods of procedures
• Troubleshooting tower issues
• Performing equipment swaps and site upgrades
• Travel possibility with TDY if interested
• Opportunities throughout the United States
• Pay depends on experience, certifications, and licenses
• No degree required
